Quickstart

This guide takes you from first sign-in to your first conversation with an agent.

Sign in with your nara account. Regular members work in the user workspace; administrators additionally have access to the admin console under /admin.

nara has two shells:

  • The user workspace is where everyone chats with agents, joins voice calls, and tracks their tickets and devices.
  • The admin console is where administrators manage agents, tools, knowledge, deployments, and organization settings.

Admins switch between the two with Enter admin and Exit admin in the sidebar user menu.

If you are an admin without an organization yet, nara guides you through organization onboarding: choose an organization name and a slug. Each admin can create exactly one organization.

  1. Open Organization in the admin console.

  2. Open the invite members sheet and enter one or more email addresses.

  3. Pick the Default role for the invitees and send the invite.

Invitations to emails that already belong to another organization are blocked. Pending invites are listed on the same page, and the KPI tiles at the top show members, pending invites, license expiry, and remaining seats.

Every user can adjust preferences in the sidebar user menu:

  • Profile — your professional profile, built through an onboarding chat interview.
  • Agent — the default agent used for new chats.
  • Text model — the model tier: Budget, Balanced, or Pro.
  • Voice Gender — the voice used in calls.
  • UI Language — the interface language.
  1. In the admin console, open Agents and click Create Agent.

  2. In the node-graph editor, configure the Settings node: choose the type (Chat or Workflow), set the names and description, and pick a text model tier.

  3. Add a persona and a task, and attach any tools the agent should use.

  4. Save the agent and set its publication state to Live so everyone in the organization can use it. Use Draft while testing or Private to keep it to yourself.

See Agents for the full editor reference, including operating protocols, skills, and resources.

Switch back to the user workspace (Exit admin) and start a New Chat from the dashboard or the chat sidebar. Type a question into the composer — it reads “Ask {agentName} something…” — or start a voice call. See Chat & voice for everything the chat surface can do.
