First Login & Setup

Getting Started Required

Before you begin, make sure you have the following:

  • nara account — You will either create an account during onboarding or receive a login from your organization administrator.
  • Organization invitation — An existing admin must invite you to the organization. Check your email for the invitation link.
  • Modern browser — nara supports the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. JavaScript must be enabled.

  1. Open the invitation link

Click the link in your invitation email. This takes you to the nara login page with your organization pre-selected.

  2. Sign in

Sign in using your email and password, or use a supported social login provider (Google, Microsoft, etc.) if your organization has enabled it. If you do not have an account yet, follow the on-screen prompts to create one.

  3. Accept the organization invitation

After authentication, you will be prompted to accept the invitation to join the organization. Confirm to proceed.

  4. Complete your profile

Fill in your display name and any optional profile fields. This information is visible to other organization members and appears in audit logs.

  5. Land on the dashboard

Once setup is complete, you are redirected to the main Dashboard where you can see an overview of your organization’s activity.

After logging in, you land on the nara Dashboard. Here is what you will find.

The dashboard gives you a high-level view of your organization’s activity, including recent agent conversations, tool execution summaries, and system status indicators. Use it as your starting point each day to spot issues and track trends.

The left sidebar is your primary navigation. It is organized into the following sections:

| Section | Description | | -------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Dashboard | Activity overview, recent conversations, and system health at a glance. | | Agents | Create and manage AI agents, define operating protocols, and assign tools. | | Tools | Browse the tool registry, configure execution types, and manage categories. | | Deployments| Manage deployment targets, cloud connectors, and version rollouts. |

  • Organization switcher — If you belong to multiple organizations, use the switcher in the top-left corner to move between them.
  • User menu — Access your profile settings, sign out, or switch accounts from the avatar dropdown in the top-right corner.
  • Notifications — System alerts and important events appear as banners or badge counts on relevant sidebar items.

Your permissions in nara depend on the role assigned to you when you were invited. Common roles include:

RoleWhat You Can Do
AdminFull access. Manage members, configure agents, deploy tools, and access all organization settings.
MemberUse agents, view dashboards, and access tools. Cannot modify organization settings or invite users.

Now that you are signed in and familiar with the dashboard, continue with the setup process.
